Medivance has made significant strides in developing, manufacturing and marketing its award-winning flagship product, the Arctic Sun Temperature Management System. The Arctic Sun is a next generation temperature management system that modifies patient temperature rapidly via a unique and patented approach to surface cooling and rewarming. The Arctic Sun is inherently safe, easy to initiate by nursing staff, and offers precise control.

Before the introduction of the Arctic Sun, surface cooling referred only to ice packs, fans, alcohol rubs, and traditional water blankets that were labor intensive to initiate and maintain and completely unreliable. The Arctic Sun is technologically advanced and quite unique when compared to these traditional approaches.
